Senior Operations Manager (110jc) – Dublin, Republic of Ireland - €80k + Benefits

My client, who are one of providers of security solutions to a large and diverse client base including State and semi-state bodies, small & medium sized businesses, large corporations, property companies, multinationals, and residential customers nationwide.

They require an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the security services division in our Dublin Office.

Experience in the security industry is advantageous but not essential. An attractive package commensurate with the role and its responsibilities is available to the successful candidate.

The Role and Responsibilities:
• Leading the Team
• Manage staff performance by motivating training, coaching, and mentoring. Creating a culture for success and high performance in line with business objectives.
• Provide feedback and manage performance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, Health and Safety, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Manage recruitment & selection processes, training, and development of new employees.
• Carry out regular audits and assessments for continuous improvement.
• Interface with clients and customers
• This role includes an element of out of business hours availability.

The Candidate:
• Minimum 5 years' relevant Operations experience in a similar type of role in a service environment
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage staff.
• Self - motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercially focused and aware

Most of the role will be based in and around Dublin town and they expect that the client would live within an easy commute of the city. You will be responsible for about 250 personnel, with 4 – 6 direct reports. The bulk of the operations will be in the usual manned guarding sector.
