Clinical Unit Manager
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Unit Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Armagh, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This care home has been developed to provide care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical disabilities
**To be considered for this position you must qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**As the Clinical Unit Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Whether you’re taking charge of a unit or a floor, you’ll promote resident’s independence, choice and dignity by ensuring that the team provide the highest standards of care at all times
· With the help of your team, you’ll assess each resident’s wellbeing – making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met – always maintaining accurate records
· Delivering clinical guidance to your team, you’ll lead by example; motivating and mentoring the team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home
· You’ll build lasting relationships with the residents and the people they care about, as well as caring about the home itself - fostering a sense of community
· Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners, you will liaise with these partners, playing an important role in raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Knowledge and experience with administering medication safely
· Be confident in creating and updating individualised care plans and documentation
· Deliver hands on nursing care to ensure the well-being and health of our residents
· Have an excellent understanding of the standards set by CQC
The successful Clinical Unit Manager will receive an excellent salary of £21.50 per hour and the annual salary is £41,925 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
